Welcome to Coll Bunkhouse
Coll Bunkhouse is ideal for independent travellers, families and small groups, sleeping up to 15 persons (+ travel cots) across one mixed dorm of six, and two private rooms sleeping up to 3 or up to 6 persons respectively (each includes a double bed). It has level access and modern facilities throughout.

Whether you’re looking for an island adventure or a quiet place to relax, a warm welcome awaits you (and your pets – by arrangement). The beauty of Coll is that it’s a hidden gem amongst Scotland’s islands and away from the regular tourist trail. The journey to get here is amongst the most scenic anywhere in the world! Once you arrive, you can take your pick of over 30 stunning beaches to enjoy (you might be the only one there), go wildlife-spotting along the coast, take advantage of the fine food and drink available in the village, or join with the community in enjoying one of the many events taking place throughout the year.

If that isn’t enough to entice you, Coll is known for its rare wildlife, delicious local produce, its natural playground for outdoor pursuits, and the beautiful village of Arinagour at the heart of the island. Most of all, Coll is well-known for its wonderful hospitality.

The Isle of Coll is a real hidden gem amongst Scotland’s Hebridean islands.

Situated around 40 miles West of Oban, the island is off the beaten track and offers a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle on the mainland. With numerous sandy beaches and an abundance of wildlife, Coll rewards the intrepid explorer looking for an island adventure.

At around 13 miles long and 3 miles wide the Isle of Coll is a great size for getting out and about – big enough to find your own peace and quiet but small enough so that you don’t get lost! With a local population of just over 200 people, don’t be surprised if you choose a beach for the day and find that you have it all to yourself.

Within the grounds of An Cridhe and Coll Bunkhouse we have a designated parking spot for up to 4 motorhomes at a time, at a cost of £25/night/vehicle. Electric hookup is now available for an additional £5/night.   Hardstanding best suited to vehicles up to 6m. No awnings or tents accepted.
